Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please carefully review the information below before proceeding with your deletion request.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email, photo)
  • Your account credentials and login access
  • Your notification preferences and settings
  • Your church affiliation and preferences
  • Active session bookings (if any)

What We Retain

For legal, security, and service quality reasons, we retain the following data:

  • Transaction Records: Payment history for tax and audit purposes (7 years)
  • Session Transcripts: Anonymized chat logs for quality assurance and legal compliance
  • Reviews: Your counselor reviews remain visible but will show as "Deleted User"
  • Counselor Data: If you're a counselor, your professional information may be retained for historical session records

Note: Personal identifiers will be removed from retained data where possible, making it non-attributable to you.

Before You Delete

Consider These Alternatives:

  • Temporary Deactivation: Contact support to temporarily disable your account instead of permanently deleting it
  • Privacy Settings: Adjust your privacy settings in the app to control data sharing
  • Notification Control: Turn off notifications in app settings without deleting your account
